Cara Kaminsky is an entrepreneur and passionate digital marketing strategist. An 11-year veteran of the direct-to-consumer industry, Cara is best known for her deep understanding of all aspects of the direct response business model. Having worked with Fortune 100 companies as well as fast track start-ups, Cara understands the formula of launching a successful marketing campaign in the US or internationally.
After receiving her BA degree in Communications from San Diego State University, Cara started her career working for very highly regarded, Time Life, where she managed the social media marketing campaign for their most successful fitness product ever - The Ab Circle Pro which generated over $300 million in revenue. Following this highly successful campaign, Cara was recruited by a blue-chip direct marketer Intelligent Beauty to manage their digital monthly subscription box for BeautyFix, owned by Dermstore (now acquired by Target).
Now having a very solid foundation in both digital and social marketing, Cara was the West Coast Director of Business Development for Ignite Media Solutions where she secured and managed new business accounts such as Zumba, ShakeWeight and FlexSeal.
In 2013, Cara launched the direct-to-consumer campaign, UFCFit, while at Cre8tive and Dig8tal Partners.
Over the past few years, Cara has worked with the top informercial marketers worldwide and secured multiple licensing deals for inventors/start-ups. In addition, Cara brings a diverse background that includes extensive experience from all levels of the purchase chain including manufacturing, logistics, retailing, product development, marketing, advertising and distribution on Home Shopping channels such as QVC and HSN.
Cara K Media was founded in 2010 and partners with brands looking to scale their business within media and new technologies. She specializes in strategy, business planning, e-Commerce integration, media buying and driving lower customer acquisition costs. Cara is now a recognized leader in the direct-to-consumer industry and is an advisor on those looking to enter the space.
As the Head of Marketing for the Creative Networks Group, Cara oversees all of the firm's marketing endeavors, corporate messaging and all digital, social and promotional efforts.
